I did this last year.
Well It's time for my annual hunting picture thread.
I have been late posting these pictures because I have been really busy.
This time I have taken more pictures of camp and not just my family.

My job for the day was to spread apples and corn around but I figured it wouldn't hurt to

stop and take some knife shots.

Latter in the day I decided to take my bike out and explore alittle since hunting camp is one of my favorite places to be.
The bike ended up quiting on me after I had rode out to the big oak, had to push it back almost three miles to camp.

That night so gun issues were solved thanks to the light of my surefire.

Day 3- start
The first deer was taken by Cory, a retired recon marine.
He is a really cool guy and has been there, had some good talks with him.

[Linked Image from i40.tinypic.com]
After I helped him with his deer I hopped on my bike and went up to hunt with my dad which isn't really as much hunting as it is philosophy.

More scenery.
[Linked Image from i40.tinypic.com]
Question for the plant guys, what the heck is this stuff.
Only found a small patch of it and I have never seen it.

Day-4
On this day I got within 15 feet of a bald eagle, very cool.
They are really making a good comback in the state.
About 30 seconds later while looking for the eagle I almost had a run in with Pepe Le Pu who was sitting in the middle of the trail.
Rest of the day was spent hunting with dad.

Me, wasn't really aiming at anything just was scaning a hillside.

Day-5
Short hunt in the morning with no results except 5 or 6 does flipping me off while riding up on the atv, and another just standing right infront of us.
I was driving and I told my dad to shoot with my 870 but he never took the shot.
Natures toilet seat.

A couple of shots of the big oak, these pictures really don't do it justice it is much bigger.

After these pictures were taken I kicked up a doe and a small buck towards my dad, later I kicked them up again and chased them on foot until I got tired.
It was time to pack up.
This is Mr. Fraely, the owned of the property and a WW2 vet(there was also another WW2 vet that was a paratrooper but he left early because of illness).

I returned that night to find out that my dog had had her puppies.

Took this picture while going to get my cousins deer, his first.
It was a nasty little doe that had an infected wound, of course he decided to leave it to the yotes AFTER I gutted it out by flashlight.

Yeah, its the petfect blend of all types of knife.
Cuts great, chops great, carves great, handles great, light, and its made of infi of course.
Great knife.

I have profiled the edge down to paper thin and it still holds up great.
I have had no damage doing heavy chopping and batoning during winter on oak, the only damage has been a small dent from a accidental full force swing that hit my bikes handle bars.
I was amazed the edge didn't blow out.
