Accurate....quiet...and just as effective if you can do your bit...I like this Ruger .22 which shoots very well with Eley sub-sonic ammo....

Looks like it is suppressed, is it?
Good looking pistol btw.

On the AA Conversion. I had one several years back and it was pretty accurate and pretty reliable. I ended up using it on a trade for something because I figured the money tied up in it and to get extra mags would be better spent on a dedicated .22lr pistol. Now I just got to figure out which one.

I have one of the Advantage Arms conversion kits for my Glock 19, and it is very accurate and reliable. I shoot Remington Golden Bullets through it, as is recommended for plinking, and CCI Mini Mags for better accuracy. I even shoot the 60 grain Sniper Sub Sonics through it reliably. I've poured thousands of rounds through it and probably only had a dozen malfunctions. Not bad for a .22. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

If I could find a kit with some extra mags I might be tempted to try it again. I need it for plinking and possible rabbit/squeril hunting.

Like HD, I like my sig 2 tone p220. But the trigger reach is a tad to long for me without holding it in a sort of twisted grip. Now my Customized 1911a1 and my springfield V10 ultra compact is NICE. but my favorite carry piece is my Sig P225 single stack 9mm that I had customized SEVERAL years ago by John Quintrall out in Kali. Later on when I get a chance I'll post some Pics of my handguns.

Have you looked into a short trigger for your 220? I put one in my 228 and love it, makes it just a bit of a shorter reach and they aren't that expensive.

Pythons--so beautiful, so smooth, unlike us they hold their lines so true.
