my mayor's after the guns. my local precinct, one block away, takes 45 minutes to get officers to my house in response to a drunk with a bat.

Amen to that! P-easy, how does that Desert Eagle shoot? Does it kick like crazy? I ask because that is a grail gun to me! Heck, if things start to look bad for gun ownership, I may have to save up for one of those for a future purchase. You know what they say, go big or go home!

Hmmm... I guess it's off to the gun store tomorrow to buy some .380 acp's tomorrow!
After hearing what all of you have said, I understand more now why my dad sent off 350 .44 Mag shells and purchased 150 more shells to get a total of 500 .44 mag shells reloaded. The funny thing is that he's only shot about 60 of these rounds through his .44 mag!
Also, how does ammunition not fall into the category of keep and bare arms? Isn't ammo a necessary part of "arms?" Through using common sense, (something that's hard to come by these days) I'd have to say that it only makes sense that ammunition is part of the "arms." Common sense says that but like you said--not much of it left anymore. For those the believe in a strict view of the Constitution this is where the liberal view of the Constitution can use it against us. If we are viewing the Constitution as what is written--where is the ammo mentioned. I have listened to a couple lawyers discuss this and what I realized is that we are all screwed no matter what.

But is for the children What, to not teach them the responsibility and safe handling of guns? Yes, let's make guns a mystical wonder that ignites the flames of curiosity in children instead of teaching them how to safely handle them!

Grab all the .380 you can afford. At the Wannamacher Gun Show, touted as the largest in the country, I saw very few boxs and what was available was priced at 50 bucks a box. I know, but when leaving I noticed that there were several boxs short on the table.

Heck, if things start to look bad for gun ownership, I may have to save up for one of those for a future purchase. You know what they say, go big or go home! Yeah dude, it's great. lol... It shoots very nice; not as much kick as I was expecting, but it still kicks like crazy. It's pretty [censored] heavy, so that probably helps out the recoil. I just got mine about a month ago, and it ran me $1,700; worth it to me. The .50AE ammo is hard to find(ish) and pricey. After shooting the Desert Eagle, the Sig (.40 cal) seriously feels like a Co2 pellet gun. If you are ever in eastern PA, you are more than welcome to put some rounds through it.
Enjoy every sandwich.

Yes, let's make guns a mystical wonder that ignites the flames of curiosity in children instead of teaching them how to safely handle them! Once again, common sense. But then again it takes a village to raise a child. Now, where was this village when I was getting my backside tanned for making the wrong decision I came out ok without being raised by a village.
