I carry a Glock 19 and time and time again that is what I always come back to. But, often I do find it a bit cumbersome. But never do I feel "undergunned".

There may be some merit to the 9mm Vs 45acp debate. Personally I like a 45. It makes a bigger hole and the recoil is not bad. A 9mm makes a smaller hole and will not do as much damage as a 45 (but the depth of penetration may offset this). Any way, Shoot what you are comfortable with, like and most importantly own! There was a reason the saying "beware of the one gun man, he probably knows how to use it" came about.

Would I feel "underguned" with a 9mm? NOPE!

I carry a Glock 19 every day, and have yet to feel undergunned. I think it carries easier than my Sig P229 or P220. Would rather have my G19 on my hip than my Sig in the truck.

I prefer a 9mm because on rapid fire I can control it better and shoot it faster and still hit where I aim compared to a .45 but much of the aim aspect is "subconscious" ... this only comes from lots of practise for me and "one" pistol works best ... especially in comps ... however in Europe a 9mm is the main calibre for comps.

I find that the mussle break works best on a 9mm ... and whilst some may see this as a "competition only" feature ... see if you can find one to try ... and you will be suprised at how they give a real defense advantage as well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

My favorite "shooter" is my Beretta 92. It just works for me.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Just ran across that Boberg very interesting for a pocket gun. I just bought a Rohrbaugh R9S, but if I had seen this I might have chosen different.

don't know if you guys caught the announcement of the new ruger LC9.

still looks a little too small for my hands. I would like to see the boberg at some point though.

I like it. Full 9mm Luger power in a pocket pistol!

The Boberg is smaller than the LC9. Too bad you can't get one yet. (Boberg) I did get my name on the list though.

Rohrbaugh is supposed to be coming out with a 45 also.
