Hi all I wont be able to make blade this year. I'm in the market for a Battle Mistress probably an LE (still dithering) and was wondering if anyone has room in there budget to pick one up for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I could do it with a credit card, Bors, but I'd sure need to get paid fast. You think there will be any FBM LEs there? Those ain't cheap.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I can get the money to you quick. I guess I'm not sure on the model. I would prefer a flat/saber grind and not the wavy grind and was thinking that you could only get it in a satin finished blade. but I'm not entirely sure do you have a wavy finished BM and if so how do you like it. It's going to be a user so the finish would come off anyway.

The thicker FFBM is much like the LE, only much less expensive. It doesn't have the grooves. It's a heavier knife than the FBM.

I hope, I'm on the prowl for CG models, and maybe standard LE models or SEs..

Some of the elaborate custom shop models just don't do it for me.

Enjoy every sandwich.

I could go for an FFBM I don't really need an LE. The weight is not an issue. handle color, well give me a break here I'm color blind but I like the lighter single or lighter mottled colored handles (grays browns and sages).

I don't remember seeing any CG Busse the last 2 years. Swamp and Scrap yes but Busse was either custom or "200_ Special Edition" marked. I have been looking for combat grades myself both years. I take that back.... when it came to new knives like SarSquatch they were CG but I don't remember any old styles.

But they had CGs at Knob... Or is Blade a different story with what they bring?

Judging by the number of different colored Scrappers they get there I agree! I may be wrong about the lack of CG but I don't think I'm too far off. Maybe Klink or Horn Dog will chime in.
