Hello everybody. I thought the yard may be interested in what I unearthed on a local knife forum. One of the members modified some Busse and Swamp Rat hardware with an Australian twist. The results can be found here: http://laventrix.net/showthread.php?t=1601David.

P-Easy,
Thanks for letting me know. I will try and get permission from the original poster on the other forum to use his pictures.
David.

bld522,
Thank you for that information. I appreciate the strict legality of public domain, but I must diverge from that in the interest of someone's perceived rights to his content. Sometimes, in my opinion, giving up one's rights in order to accommodate another person's- whether actual or perceived- is a more beneficial path, with less likelihood of any ill-will between members of different forums. With this in mind, I do ask for the Yard's patience and I hope this small hiccup does not blow expectations out of proportion.
As a preview, the link was to a thread detailing a modder's work on a Ratweiler, a Busse Natural Outlaw E Series and a Tanker A. The modder re-handled the knives with Western Australian Jarrah scales and mirror polished the blades (the Ratweiler also had some small profile and grind modifications as well.)
Hope to bring you pictures soon!
David.

Well... hopefully you get his permission. But you most certainly DON'T HAVE to have it. Once you put pics on a hosting service, that's it. You don't retain much in the way of rights to them. Whether someone perceives it that way or not.
Now, it's a totally different situation if someone has his own website on which he can host pictures.
