thanks for the help and suggestions guys! we are discussing on spending more time there....it really will be up to the rest of my family (baby and a senior citizen).

lol I've had a few avatars up!

it will not be easy with a baby and senior bro. lots of walking and stairs on many sites (not all) and it gets pretty hot in the summer!

Great family trip but allow much more time if possible. I remember all the family trips and they were great. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Now we are just the two of us and hitting really remote places that we planned out when having young children with us. I always have guide books and maps on everything before I go to an area. I have been studying the Grand Canyon for years- made numerous extensive trips ( one month plus) and still can't get enough of it !! Up our way we are seeing a big increase in camping and such as folks are doing less expensive trips due to the economy. Make sure you have reservations. i went with my fam a few years ago it was the best trip i ever took we went to the grand canyons too and then we went to jackson hole wyoming and went white water rafting

Glacier National park, and seeing the Redwoods is on the list, and camping on Mt Rainier and Crater Lake.
