WOOOHOOO! I just received the S6 that I had traded for. She's a beauty! Pics to come soon. As a pleasant surprise it turns out that it is a sterile version. Does anyone know anything about the sterile version of this knife. Were they a special run? How many of them their might be? Anyone with any info would be helpful.

Congrats! For the first while at the Yard, all none-LE blades were sterile (other then the SS4). I think it has only been since the Yard Keeper that CG blades have been logo'd. Nice score! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Sterile blades were primarily made for military units that didn't want to identify where they were produced....or were unmarked for simple cost effectiveness. others were only numbered for inventory/issue tracking.
