I was trying to find some posts I'd seen before of removing and replacing scales and other mods.
It took me quite some time, and it struck me that if I collected what I found it might save other people some time, when they were looking for similar threads.

I though I'd collect those I found into a post, invite others to post similar links, tutorials, articles etc and then bundle them all up in a single thread, which I though we could ask the mod(erator)s to make sticky and thereby create a resource for other users and maybe save them some time.

What do you guys think?

To start off here are the threads and links I found roughly organised by topic.
Please add your links, tutorial/howto threads etc. Don't worry too much about formatting if you don't know how. Just include the link, the title and author/post starter - and if there is one person who stands out as contributing a lot to the thread from a tutorial/howto perspective, then include their name too.
I'll format/mark up links if required.

no thanks, ColdOne one of our most excellent Mods already has this sticky thread, called; "READ THIS Rules and SY Info"

and I'm pretty sure links to other knife sites isn't a good idea in a ScrapYard/Busse forum...

Funny thing is I got nearly all the links off these forums - and the few I didn't were links off of pages that were linked to these forums.

Also can't see anything about links to external sites in the READ THIS - half the threads on these forums contain links to blade forums!

Still if people don't think this is useful, fair enough.

If you or anyone else has a useful tip you could always pm ColdOne or Private Klink (Mods) and talk about putting it in the sticky-thread, they are pretty good guys and are always open to suggestions.

One big ole info thread <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
