spent the day tree climbing with the chainsaw and taking down a big ol half dead pine. The crown was SO overgrown and twisted up, that at one point i had made 20 cuts and still nothing was moving. The final cut was a dinky little thumb thick branch, and the whole mass of gnarled up pine crown toppled over. After that it was block down the trunk.

The heat did NOT help, it was about 35 degrees Celcuis, whatever that is in American temps.... UV index was also extremely high, they recommended less than TEN minutes outside even with sunscreen. I got a good headache going on. Drank 6 liters of water and only just now am i seeing any it when voiding....and its dark..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Dosed myself with salt tabs and gatorade when i got home.

$300 (gave a deal, family friends) and boy was i surprised when they gave me a $100 tip.

So as soon as i get dressed and down some ibuprofen, its off to the post office to pay for my S5! WOOT

-Work scheduled for today was cancelled since we pulled a late day yesterday.
-Went to a "fair" at a local park. I thought I was going to be bored but among all of the petting zoos, pony rides and Uncle Sams on stilts they had an old school forge set up giving blacksmithing demonstrations like scythe & plow blade making. It was pretty cool. I have a couple of pics but haven't had time to load them yet.
-Had grilled dolphin for lunch <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
-Stopped into my favorite local sporting goods retailer for their big $th of July blow-out sale and received 30% off of a brand new Woodman's Pal and a Cold Steel 18" spear point machete.

And of course hanging with the family is always cool too.
