I finished making my first knife today. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It is made of 1/8" 1080 Carbon steel, full convex grind, not sure what to call the profile (its basically a drop point without the drop), black Dymonwood handles and stainless steel pins. It has flaws and isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it being my first knife. It meets my requirements that I set for myself: It must look like a knife - It does. It must cut stuff - It does. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I passed! Good deal <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I can't remember if it is koser to post a pic of your blade, but if you lay it close to a Bussekin blade for comparison it should be ok <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Well that was a bit of catching up. Sorry to hear about your situation with your pooch MD. I HATE when I hear about people acting like that. Congrats on making your first knife KS. sharpening is easy....a few passes on the strop after use....reprofiling the edge is a lil bit more work <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm sure you'd be fine even if you WERE selling em, KS, as long as you kept it to the death chat.
I dig the lines of that little knife. No giant wasted space like on some other small knives I've seen :cough: choil :cough: talon hole :cough:
