Secret's out. Great. Well, sorry to tell you but Dan's next offering is one much like that.
It's called the PUG.

Ideas for its meaning?

anyone ever have this happen?

I was kinda tired this morning, so i crawled into be to have a nap around 1130 hours. Slept like the fat cat beside me until about 1300 hours or so. At that point I started having an extremely vivid and frightening nightmare. Suffice to say , yes it involved zombies. Now normally i would be "hey COOL! ZOMBIES!" but this one was different for some reason

Now that in itself is fine, we all love those movies etc, but it was the terror, panic, and sheer exhaustion I felt all thruout that dream that eventually woke me up. It was an hour of running for my life in the dream, hiding, fighting, killing not only the things trying to kill me, but the medical types and soldiers too, all who were trying to contain and kill off the population. But the zombies overwhelmed them too. The detail in the dream was so vivid, i could write pages of the little details that stuck out, every little felling of terror and exhaustion. The way my legs felt stiff while trying to run, the feeling of betrayal when i saw the police and medical types shootin civilians, the smells of the malls and the air outside, the different noises..

At one point in the dream i was in a mall, in a locked and barricaded section with other healthy people. Somehow a child of about 6 got infected and she suddenly latched onto the neck of the person beside me. I remember killing her with a machete. It was'nt the death of the person beside me that started the terror i was feeling, it was the act of killing the child. From there it just got worse, the dream got more and more vivid and gruesome, and every incident i encountered in the dream the feeling of terror (and not being able to wake up in real life) skyrocketed. The final part of the dream there were two zombie kids walking around and injecting people with needles, infecting them. Someone stabbed one zombie in the neck with some kind of huge three needle syringe and pulled it out and handed it to me, telling me to keep using it on them. So i ran around, stabbing them in the neck and pulling it out. Until the two zombie kids suddenly were in front of me smiling. I had stabbed them both several times and they were starting to die, but then it looked like they were trying to puke on me and infect me with the blood and puke. For almost 5 minutes i was frozen and could'nt move and then i woke up.

my heart rate was almost at MAX, my chest was thumping hard and I felt sheer terror in the pit of my stomach. even after a cool shower I still felt sketched out.

so that was my dream.

anyone ever experience something like that? thoughts? its been 25 minutessince i woke up, and my heartrate (normally around 30 - 40 BPM when at rest) is STILL at 80+ beats a minute

WRITE IT DOWN QUICK! Or better yet, type it up. And send me a copy.
My cousin is a director-to-be, I'm pretty sure he could turn it into a script for a movie.

Out of curiosity, what did you have to eat before you went to bed?

I had a dream that consisted of a destruction on a global scale where the city I lived in was rent to pieces and the ocean moved in. There was mass chaos and then a weird phenomenon. I began to realize some of the people around me where clones or something of the like. It was an extremely vivid dream and what struck me the most was the richness in color. Don't know what to make of it but I woke up exhausted as well.

^ yea it was the colors and smells and sounds that were super vivid. Notable the smell of crisp snow. It was also the physical stuff like textures, the feeling of skin as it indented slightly as i cut it, then the sudden hot feeling. Other notable details were massive army trucks the size of pitmine dumptrucks, painted blaze orange, swerving towards me but never actually hitting me.

I'm sure they have nothing to do with our preparation for worst case scenarios.

That mall scene reminds me of Dawn of the Dead.
