Hey Evolute, I know that you probably don't do much with the "Point and shoot" cameras, but my wife and I cruse a National Wildlife refuge a lot and my wife LOVES taking pictures of the animals. At present she has an olympus SP 570 UZ. She's always wanted a cannon and now I see they have a 20zoom point and shoot out. What do you think about it? Should I get it for her or just keep on using the Olympus. She does NOT use the full capabilites of the Olympus but does like the long lens and SOME of the preset settings. She does not want a real complicated to operate camera, that's why I have not already bought her a SLR digital.

Alright...I'll post it here to keep it on the DL...
I am worried that this may be heresy, but I am thinking about it anyway...
OK, I have 2 Wakis, a DDF, a M9LE, and a SODLE. Do I really NEED a Bushwhaker mistress for $350 when Rat Cutlery is coming out with a RC-10 (to be named later) with almost identical specs?
Is the enormous price difference worth it?
(I know the short answer is "Its INFI, of course it is!!!!!.....but RCs 1095 is goooood stuff.)

Thats a good question, heck you could get a cheap Ontario, Cold Steel or a Tramontina machete for well under $20.00 that will do the job.
