1095 is great steel. Does RAT have a lifetime guarentee?
I love RAT knives and they are sweet blades, they will get the job done, but they are not the quality as a Busse knife.
If you can afford the Busse, I'd say go for it, you will regret it in the end because once their gone for the company store you will never find them for that price again. You will always be able to buy the RC-10 years down the road for the factory price.

RAT has arguably a better warranty than Busse...because they warrant abuse and intentional damage

Of course, for all intents and purposes....Busse's warranty is untouchable too. Just dont cut it in half with a torch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

The bushwhacker is the best looking mistress IMO, no crazy scallops or extra stuff on the blade and a nice simple handel.

Busse has a great waranty, they don't care if you chop a brick and break the knife, they will replace it no questions asked. Oh, NO complaints about Busse warranty. It is awesome. Basically, you break it, they replace it. Exactly the same with RAT as well, BUT with intentional damage covered.
