I love pheasant hunting, grew up hunting pheasants in nebraska, we would always see lots of birds. We would loose alot too since we didn't have a dog.

Pheasant is okay. Has anyone here bit into an ostrich yet?

I almost had an ostrich egg, they are super big. I bet you could make an omelet for the whole family with one egg!

I've had ostrich burgers. They tasted much more like beef than fowl. Similar to bison - it's pretty lean and maybe a touch sweeter than beef. Pretty good stuff.

Sounds good..I've only had bison burgers before and they were tasty and lean.
