I would like to try the rat pack, but you can't buy it without a knife, and I don't need another 5-6 inch knife.
The rat pack knife (confusing, right) is a limited release of the RC-3, only available to members of the "rat pack" on bladeforums. It's a pretty sweet little 3 inch blade - nice and sharp, made from a workhorse steel, and only 75 bucks. Comes with a sheath, belt clip, and molle attachments, too.

The 700 lumen mg rx-1 is pretty sweet, but not as bright as I expected. It has a super focused hotspot plus some decent spill. I haven't used it in the woods yet but it should be ably to throw a looooong way. For 2x cr123, it's bright enough, and the price was right. It lights up a room almost as well as a 100 watt light bulb <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
