mcj, where have I been? When did you go from Vegas to Oregon?

I wanted to ask your opinion of TAD Gear.

I'm a Texan so I support my Texas teams; Cowboys, Astros, Spurs, Texans, Stars etc.

But really, the Cowboys really need to suck it up. My gosh, the Texans had a chance to beat the Colts...sigh. What a mess.

I've bought alot of stuff from those guys. Give them a call sometime and see if you can get ahold of them. It is always very difficult, even to place an order!

I bought a messenger bag from them and it is very well designed, good construction, etc, etc. Some of the stitching came loose around a pen pocket and they fixed it. It should be back tomorrow...

What would discourage me from EVER recommending them is how hard they are to get ahold of. I called a dozen times, left messages, multiple emails and never got a response.

Finally, I posted a complaint thread on the USN forums(which TAD is very popular and the TAD employees frequent). It got my problem fixed that day. But really, you shouldn't have to do that. There are plenty of companies that take excellent care of their customers. If I hadn't been a member of that sight my problem might not have ever been fixed.

Multiple people complained about the same thing on the thread I started. Ya, their gear is quality. They carry good brands. But so do a hundred other companies with better service.

The fact that it took over a month to get it squared away with isn't bad. It was the fact it took forever to get ahold of them.
