i started doing the rasp thing when i was 18. my friends said it was hopeless and only comes after a lifetime of smoking and screaming.
i did go way far and this is actually me doing a lighter rasp.
rasp may not be the right word for it. grit? dirt?

You probably won't like numan as he was new wave back in the 80's I brought up gilby because i really liked his pawnshop guitars album. Although your song is different when you said it is a song that all guitarist do sometimes, for some reason his "hunting dogs" came to mind Sometimes a simple vocals/guitar blend can't be beat

yeah i do a lotta shredding. general rock stuff, my instrumentals may be considered metal. lately i've been softening up, turning the distortion down, singing a little harder.
