We are in the 5A class which is the second to largest in our state. My school is only about 75 kids away from dropping to the next smaller class which is 4A.
Playing hard when I was younger has made some things a little difficult if you know what I mean LOL. Yes I do ! I'm recovering from my 3rd shoulder surgery since Septmber 09 Two on the left and one on the right.....

Football shape is totally different than wrestling shape. I have one kid that had a mental breakdown last night and is 5 lbs heavy for tomorrows 10 am weigh-in. He wrestles 103, has to weigh 105 with the growth allowance. I am hoping he makes it tomorrow since he is a sophomore and has worked hard all year to get to the tournament.

I didn't play hard when I was younger, and I think it was even worse. I started rock climbing at around 25 years old, and I was just starting to hit that point where my body didn't recover like it used to when I was in college. I haven't climbed seriously in months, and I can count six or seven nagging injuries.

We are 9,10,11,12 school.
Two ACLs, PCL, MCL, Achilles tendon, shoulders with spurs, dislocated shoulder, back problems. That is from football, wrestling, horse, motored vehicles, and just plain stupidity. I had a guardian angel that worked a lot of overtime.
I will be back later, lunch is over....ARGHHHH

we would have one of our mat maids be our 103 if the other guys didn't have one to get the cheap forfiet. we lost almost all our duels cause if we were lucky we would have seven to eight guys on the team. my junior year we tied for 4th in the state cause we had 5 guys in the tourney with 3 in the finals, two champs. missed taking 1st my 1 point. tight year.

Unfortunatly I'm really starting to pay for my younger years. 5 knee surgeries 3 on the left and 2 on the right , and a total of 4 shoulder surgeries, 3 in the last 5 months are really kicken this 50yo butt.

tore up my rotater cuff in 10th grade, broke my nose twice and had a hair line fracture of my left elbow with a slight tear of the bicep 11th, broke two ribs, stress fractured my big toe, and broke my wrist my senoir year. didn't know i broke my wrist till six years later when i finally had a screw and two pins put in. added tearing all the cartilidge out of knee and tearing a ligament in my ankle in college.

My kid just turned nine this month and has already broke his Clavicle and his left forearm. He is starting a little earlier that I did. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />
