It looks like you hired an inexperienceed, but competent wedding photographer. That means she should be able to do a good job – IF you make the job easy for her. Inexperienced photograhers are most likely to screw up when things go wrong. So, if you want her to perform well, then don't let things go wrong. For example, don't run really, really late, and totally blow the schedule. Don't suddenly ask for lots more family shots than the ones you told her you wanted. Etc. Then everything should be fine.

i wish i could afford that. i was saving for the gibson historic 61 reissue but with all the crap that just popped up i'm looking at korean imports.

oh by the way i just made a thread the other day in the Outdoors and Fieldcraft section with a few shots that i took. they are from about a year ago, nothing recent.
if you dont mind could you look at them whenever you have time and maybe tell me what i could do better? I'll go take a look.
