I wonder how much lighter the S5CG is going to be. I think I'm going to wet mold a generic leather sheath to me S5 and toss that in a pack for my day to day stuff. I still need to find the righ pack though. The maxped Sitka isn't gonna cut so I think I need to get to shopping.

Thats close to the same size as what I usually use. I usually bring a camelback stryker when I scout and hunt.

I am looking for a pack in about the 25 range. Seems I am always trying to attach my knives to the packs in different ways but always come back to the tec lock.Plus- I have way too many packs as I do so many different activities

That one just seems to be my go to pack. Unless I want a really light pack with alot of water then I have a Camelback Mule

All these knife preorders and Ganzas couldnt of happened at a better time. I finally went back to work locally, after being layed off and/or working on the road for almost a year and a half now.

Its nice to know that the first paycheck will be going to something good, like steel! lol

I got fortunate and had some unexpected paid OT that paid for these and put some in the bank.
