Both, but really the teaching. I have taught in three districts. One I started in was ok but there were other teachers that really tried to get at us coaches because we would take out of state wrestling trips, were ranked in the top 10 schools in the nation for over a decade, etc. In the process they ended up srewing with kids over it. Second district I was in was for one year but it was an administration nightmare but the teachers were great. Where I am at now, I can see myself staying there for a long time hopefully ending up in administration or a AD position. Teachers try to help the kids and support them in many ways. Our kids where I am at are truly from some "challenged" home lives and seeing them succeed is great. Yes, there are mornings or times after a long haul of wrestling/football that I would like to not go but that isa lot of jobs no matter what it is.

What line of work - sounds like an IT consultancy.

Sounds really rewarding. Most jobs are 90% boredom/slog but it is the 10% that makes you stay.

What position? I was an ok football player, but only because I wrestled and my footwork and level changes were great. Wrestling, that is the sport that helped me be who I am today. Get kicked, well you can lay there or get up. Get beat, my fault (most of the time LOL). Win, it was my hard work that paid off. I guess I am a person that likes to see fruits of my hard work. Hmm, maybe that is why I don't agree with the Democrat position that everyone is entitled to a fee ride.

I sold musical recording gear. Basically if a guy want to make or record music electronically I am the guy to talk to. I covered everything from the small to the big. I dealt with a lot of different types and I really enjoyed helping people make their ideas happen.

I think I remember you talking about them having to hire a couple guys to do what you were doing. To save face they tried to make you the pawn. That is what I was talking about a bit earlier. In the 90s I worked 3 days a week at an ad agency holding company as a strategist and then 3 days a week in a digital studio I started with a friend who worked for one of the big distis in the UK. We had all the latest and greatest Pro Tools gear. It was fantastic.

The problem was that while we were great engineers, we sucked at everything else. My wife gave me a few years and then when my first kid was born in 99, she told me to go full time.

I flat told these guys in these words " i think you want to hire two people to do what I was doing!" they never really said much. They really just didn't want to pay me. That's all I could come up with.

My brother that I just helped move back is talented in music. He and his band split because of several factors but you know how that goes. He is going to try and help me learn to play the guitar. My bro's roommate gave me a guitar and my brother gave me a small amp to practice with. I just got to get a chord and bring it to my house so I can start messing around with it. Oh yeah, I saw a pick in Emerson's store that I would like to get---has the skull logo. Now if Busse would make an Infi pick that would be awesome!

I have had a ton of gear in the time I have been doing this. I doubt my knife collecting will ever be able to catch up with my music gear. It is my first love.

Guys I am going to hit the sack. I have to drop the wife off at school, then drive 45 minutes to a University for a all day conference, back to my house, pick my bro up and take him to a guitar/amp trade he set up, then by a buddies house to trade for a S&W Model 19 with 6" brl. Full day, probbly catch up with you guys on Saturday evening after the wrestling tournament.
