I have never witnessed a frenzy until I went to a gun show when ammo was really short. I am pretty sure people were just buying anything they could grab wheter or not they had a gun in that caliber or not. I just left. To weird for me.

I went to the gun show in Des Moines the weekend after we got our new president. WOW. We got there early, were maybe the 50th people in, shot in the doors, picked up a slightly high priced AR lower and a super cheap (go figure!!) Beretta 92 then just walked around looking at the ridiculous prices and watching the people for about an hour. When we left, the line to get in was 2 BLOCKS long. Made me happy that I had stockpiled ammo before all that happened.

Looks like it was slim pickins at KC when it came to Bussekin <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. I will be hitting Eugene this next week - but am betting it is not too good there either. I have not heard from Jim so I am guessing what I wanted was unavailable. I figured one would be but was really hoping for a Reg LE.

Great news for me, Jim scored me a Reg LE. I am stoked, now my TT Reg won't have to be stripped! Jim is the man, Jim is the man!!!!!
Can you tell I am happy. I figured a DFLE was out but I the Reg LE is awesome. One day I will take a few pics of my different bowies so you can see why I like them so much. To me, the bowie is America's iconic knife---designed here in America because it worked so well-----just think about how many bowies were used to help creat this nation (in good and bad ways). Heck, TX which is known for the use of the bowie knife doesn't want you to even carry one. That is a Ba A** blade!
