DAWGS!!! what is your fixed blade/folder carry combo? it doesnt matter where you are going i dont guess.. what is your combo? i guess this is really aimed at being out in the field or could be for you carrying around town... also, lets pretend there are no knife laws governing what you can carry. this should be interesting.
As for me. Fixed blade: Scrap Yard DMCG in a leather or kydex sheath from Rainwalker Folder: Spyderco Endura
I feel i can really accomplish anything i need to with these 2 knives. the VG-10 steel is great for holding an edge and fantastic for smaller cutting tasks, and the thick hunk of SR-77 on the DMCG affords me the ability to smash, stab, pry, cut, and even chop or baton, if need be - void of the fear of it ever failing on me.
what about you guys?

If we are talking about blades I own.
I would carry either my SOD or NMSFNO.
FOlder will most likely always be a strider.
If I could use anything, I would probably carry a SHSJ for the fixed blade.
Who am I kidding, I would carry the FFBM..... :-P
Enjoy every sandwich.

Spyderco Tenacious, DMDC.
When I get my sheath for the Reg I'll carry that.
I'm also looking into getting an orange Griptilian, so my woods carry would be that and the Reg at that point.
Gonna be sweet!

For me the folder would be my Emerson A100; which I just polished the edge on and I must say it is pretty darn sharp.
For a fixed blade...that is a tough one. Recently, the one that has seen the most use is a RAT3. I wish there was a slightly larger Busse Game Warden with no choil.

1 fixed + 1 folder eh? The fixed would be the NMSFNO (or Battle Rat to save a few ounces) The folder would be the Hinderer XM-18 I think I could handle anything that ever came up with these two.

I love my spyderco's too:
Usually a Spyderco Native or Endura for folder and Dogfather LE for fixed when I'm out in the woods or camping.

My delica is what I carry now- usually with my SS4. Out on the woods the delica keeps company with my camp tramp...my S5 is looking for more time though!
I saw a mini manix yesturday in a Victornix store. What a brute!!!! That is a big folder, but very cool looking!

For what sort of situation?
If it's the end of the world, I guess I'd grab my CRKT M16-13Z folder and Fallkniven A1. If I'm out in the woods, I'd probably take the Woodsknife WK2 and the Scrapper 5.
I generally always have the CRKT on me, and I carry a Becker BK2 in the car, so I guess that's my day-to-day combo. But I only keep the Becker there because it was inexpensive and I wouldn't care as much as I would with other knives if something happened to it, not because it's my default go-to knife.
What should such fellows as I do, crawling between earth and heaven?
