looks like my connection is getting as far as a server farm in Charlotte, and then timing out permanently. Probably explains why it's a regional thing - looks like the error is with either level3.net or peak10.net, both major bandwidth providers.


If I bounce my data through a proxy that doesn't use those serves, like myproxy.ca, I can get through to the site.
