Please let "Soon" mean before the end of the year!

I am sure soon means before the end of the year.... whether or not we will actually have the steel in our hands by that time is a whole other story.

So what is it ? I thought soon means within 24 hours !

Well, "soon", according to the online dictionary is...

–adverb.

1. within a short period after this or that time, event, etc.: We shall know soon after he calls.
2. before long; in the near future; at an early date: Let's leave soon.
3. promptly or quickly: He came as soon as he could.
4. readily or willingly: I would as soon walk as ride.
5. early in a period of time; before the time specified is much advanced: soon at night; soon in the evening.
6. Obsolete. immediately; at once; forthwith.

So I guess that doesn't help much, but I'd say it will be sooner rather than later <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Where I come from, soon means within 5 minutes.

"Soon" means they're coming up with something new and that they haven't shut their doors forever.

I'm fine with that.

Everyone needs three things to have a happy life:

1. A good job of work, or something to work on, keep them busy.

2. Someone to share life and happiness with.

And,

3. Something to look forward to.

I'm glad SYKCO is still around to help with number three!

Just as long as "soon" means AFTER my CC has recovered from the S5LEs and BWM... and the upcoming holidays. I know a bunch of you guys are hungry for more steel, but January would be soon enough for me.
