Ok…I had something I wanted to run by you guys. When I created the Busse Kin Exchange on Yahoo, I did so because it was the only option I knew of that I could create a forum type place to sell things. However, I’ve heard from a lot of people more familiar with forums than Yahoo groups who said they didn’t like the format, that it was hard to find things, and figure out how to post pics, etc. At the time, it was the only option and the best I could do.

However, recently I found that Geocities was shutting down, and found I needed to find a new server. I found one, and registered a custom domain. One of the things included with this server is forum software. It is more like a “standard forum” than Yahoo is, and I wondered what you guys think of moving the Busse Kin Exchange to the new forum I created rather than the Yahoo group? Since a lot of people didn’t like the Yahoo group layout, I thought you guys might prefer this. Or, I thought maybe you wouldn’t want to hassle with setting up a new account? I thought I’d ask your thoughts.

One of the good things is, with my account I have unlimited traffic and file space, so I made it so you can have unlimited PMs (no more full PM boxes to empty). You can also attach pics to your post if you don’t have a photobucket account, or insert pics right into the posts like you do here. I’m still learning the forum software, but I put up a couple forums for selling and chatting. If you want, you guys can check it out and let me know what you think. Here’s the link:

So…what do you guys think about the Busse Kin Exchange?

It's a great idea and glad to be a member.

Which do you like better? New forum or Yahoo group?
