I am wondering just how comfortable those ridges would feel after extended use?

For extended use, I really prefer the feel of hand shaped micarta, but the G10 handles on my M9LE have extended ridges and I don't find them to be too terribly uncomfortable compared to other handle shapes.

Raised ridges are pretty typical of Busse handles, and if they do give you any hot spots, a few minutes with some sandpaper will fix them.

it's called tree bark handle texture...doesn't look aesthetically nice or comfortable, but easily fixable. other then that, i really look forward to the release.

I saw Jerry had posted that he used on the other day and it was great. It looks beautiful! Too rich for my blood for sure!

A lot better than catching a smooth handled one in the shins i'll bet.

I like the look of em personally.

I like the looks of it a lot. Can't wait to see it for sale soon.

A beautiful knife for sure! I'm just afraid that like the SAR8 it will be priced out of my reach.

Yep, the potential price issue worries me too. I'm just not able to swing either the SAR8 or Bushwacker unless there are CG versions. Even then, I'll have to sell off some non-steel toys to try to raise the cash. I see myself listing some furniture and electronics for sale on Craigslist soon
