Just got done regrinding this one with a full convex zero edge. Also removed the hump and rounded the whole spine.

Awesome work again Ban. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I assume that was an INFI LE (????).... looks too nice around the Res-C/Ricasso.

If that was a CG, "PLEASE" tell me how you could have possibly gotten the ricasso so nice around the Res-C <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> ... But, I have to assume it was LE.

In any event, awesome convex grind and spine work. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Just my thoughts, but I think rounding the choil does feel a lot better in the hand. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yes, this one did start out as a LE. However, the ricasso would have turned out the same if it was a CG. I always remove the handles when regrinding to blend in the primary grind with the ricasso. The only way to get a nice clean look in my opinion. I also would have preferred a rounded choil if it was my knife.

Here is a coated Basic 7 that I reground. It had some serious dimples on the ricasso area.

If it is not too detailed to explain...how do you remove and re-attach the mudder grip? Lovely work there Ban...
