I've had a Luminox Marine watch for a few years now and I've been very happy with it, but I've been eyeballing a Marathon TSAR at countycomm.com for a couple of years. As soon as I have the nads to pony up the cash for one it's mine!

I've been thinking about this one lately...I really like it.

I am really liking the look of that one... I seem to have a thing for stainless bands and blue dials

i'd agree the stainless / blue is a nice color combo.

I bought a Rolex submariner back in 1988 (it was bought by an AF Colonel I worked with new in 1984. Still runs real good. Oh I also (posted this a while back somewheres) have a Oyster date just built in either 1945 or 1955. Paid $50.00. Yes, Fifty dollars. Then spend another 450 to have it "refurbished". Runs like a brand new watch, but it is one you need to wind everyday. BTW, the submariner has been to over 100 feet 3 times and beat up on sunken ships, coral, etc. I love it!

Very cool SkunkHunter the Submariner is one of my favorite looking watches, a true classic!

Actually, I just received this one in the mail. It is an awesome watch, especially if you like a larger watch. The thing is built like a tank and is stunning. The one you mention above is actually a blackish colored dial- this one is blue.

i have an invicta. be sure you send out that warranty info. i neglected that and now when i use the stop watch, the hand goes directly to six seconds instead of 12:00. guess i can live with that, but it's only a few months old and i shouldn't have to "live with" anything.

otherwise, i like it.

i wonder where invicta stands in the eyes of watch collectors. something like we look at cold steel?

The Invicta Reserve watches have a 5 year warranty and there is no need to do anything. For the non-reserve Invictas you are supposed to fill out the warranty card and send it in or do so online at their web site. If you have your receipt or proof of purchase, I think they would honor the warranty. Many collectors like Invicta...They are considered a good bang for the buck watch. You get a Swiss made watch, with sapphire or Flame Fusion crystals, good warranty, etc. for a pretty good price compared to other brands. They are by no means a Tag, Rolex, Omega or Ball but they are a good watch for the money. I would rank them with the mid-grade Citizens and Seikos, Crotons, Androids, etc. I now own 5 Invictas, 1 Croton, 1 Fossil, 1 Wittnauer and 1 Ball. I'd just like to make a few extra bucks and call it a wash <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

I think that is pretty close.
