Thanks everyone. I am doing much better now and at least the pain is gone. As for the hernia, I'll have to wait until I can get a Dr. appointment before I'll know what I need to do...Best case, nothing, worse case, surgery.

"I sure like your avatar!!" <-- Thanks rackemup! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am glad you are at least out of pain.... Kidney stones just suck all around.... you have my prayers for a speedy recovery...

Had a kidney stone last year. Man, did that hurt like a mutha! After a few days I was good to go again. My doc said the drugs are a necessary evil (I don't like to take anything, no matter how much pain I'm in) since they tend to loosen you up a little to help pass the stone.

Hope you get better soon, man!

That really sucks KS.
Hope you can avoid the surgery for the hernia.

Glad you’re feeling better, KS.

Passing a kidney stone gives you a whole different understanding about women having babies.

My daughter had her 3 rd child a year ago and also passed 3 large stones the next day <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />!! OUCH <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />!! We thought it was over but they actaully had to do surgery to remove another 2 days later <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> !! Hang in there KS <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I know mine were painful, but my wife was hospitalized for one several years ago and she said it was the worst pain she had ever felt. This coming from a lady that was hit by an 18 wheeler, broke hip, torn knee, crushed vertebra. Go figure.
