The other day, a strange box came in the mail.
It was from a very good friend, a well known DAWG on this forum.
Couldn't have come at a better time for me. With the layoff and
training issues, the DotD family were very much down in the doldrums.

My many thanks to the very good friend who took the time to put this
package together and send it to me.
It is appreciated more than you could think of!!!

A picture of what arrived.

And finally this odd little critter
I wasn't sure what it was for in the beginning, but tonight, I found
that it glows green in the dark. Very Cool!!!!

That Emerson looks great, I guess that is their model geared for hunting?

Cleaning deer with a folder always seems like extra cleanup but Emersons sure do come apart easy.

Merry Christmas. Looks you got some good stuff there. I have heard those glow in the dark tubes are really cool.

It's an Emerson CQC-16.
That didn't come in the package though. I got that earlier in the year.
It is a really solid knife. Don't hunt, but I could see it being used
for that.
Bushman would know about that I think. He likes Emerson's....

Cheers
