The few suggestions that I made were all based on using it as an EDC at work during commercial renovations and general campsite use. I can't say as I did anything too over the top with it or anything that would really damage it. For my purposes, that was test enough since that is what the final version that I buy will be used for.

So, I guess I did test it then, to a certain extent.

Wait, I didn't email Dan with my findings though.

No problem, Joe. At least you didn't stick a knife in the safe that you purchased under the pretense of testing it.

I don't even have a safe. I stick my knives in their sheaths.

Is that wrong?

Perhaps a discount percentage determined by the amount of damage done to the As thick as my Reg. sheath is, it may qualify as a safe.

Good job on the 10k BTW.

Bruce, we should support our fellow Dogs, not try to penalize them in some way.

By the way, welcome to the 10K club!

+1 on 10K club

I can't say I'm as passionate as Bruce on the subject, I will say that I'd feel bad taking advantage of some "perk" when I didn't use the Reg I bought.

It was my choice, and the honest answer is that it had nothing to do with wanting to keep it nice. I could go into detail, but I'll say that I took the Reg on several outings with other people who weren't keen on waiting around for me to beat it up. It was my bad, I know it, but when winter rolled around it made it harder to go out. Plus, I live in a condo, which made it tough to even go in my backyard and hack up some trees.

Anyway, no excuses, I didn't use it and here we are. Like I said, if Dan offer's a discount for the Test Team I'll congratulate those that put in the effort and hard work, with no hard feelings.

There are no hard feelings, no need for an excuse or an apology of any sort. The offer to sell a knife is my business. Those that bought knives...THANK YOU. This simple act allowed us to do something with a knife design that we would not have been able to do...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU...I hope I'm clear on this...PM me if you are not

Second, for those Dogs who handled, worked over, beat or just looked at their knives and sent in feedback...equally THANK You.

Obviously I could not incorporate all the requested changes but through careful evaluation and maintaining the Performance to Price Ratio I think the new version of the knife is going to be a hit. By the way I did incorporate a huge amount of the feedback in design and production as well...very cool stuff

We are Dog's and we support each other. Please never second guess each other, it is unbecoming.

As we say

“Long Live The Brotherhood Of The Yard”

Dan

If it is coming from the Scrap Yard, it HAS to be cool! As amazing as the TT Reg. is, this has got to be the best field knife ever.

If mine wasn't hair popping sharp, I'd sleep with it under my pillow. It has been my EDC for a while now.

I'm anxious to see the revamped regulator. I really need a good usable field knife. That can take some abuse. From what I have seen from the test model if this one is improved it should fit the bill.
