I'm not sure I understand your quetion, michelangelo. But if I've interepreted you correctly, you just need to wait for Dan to start selling the Regulators through the company store. Agree - it looks out of balance from a purely aesthetic perspective. However, seems most of the test team really like the way it performs and feels - and that is what counts.

Italy has rules about what is acceptable to be imported. Weapons are forbidden. A shipper can fill out the paperwork deceptively, but risks losing the item, if confiscated at customs. The buyer, who generally prepays for the item, is also unhappy if the item is seized. E-bay sellers generally refuse to ship knives to Italy.

I can't say I'm as passionate as Bruce on the subject, I will say that I'd feel bad taking advantage of some "perk" when I didn't use the Reg I bought.

It was my choice, and the honest answer is that it had nothing to do with wanting to keep it nice. I could go into detail, but I'll say that I took the Reg on several outings with other people who weren't keen on waiting around for me to beat it up. It was my bad, I know it, but when winter rolled around it made it harder to go out. Plus, I live in a condo, which made it tough to even go in my backyard and hack up some trees.
