ScrapYard is all about the "Performance to Price Ratio" and if I can save you $5.00 or $10.00 I will do it.

It will be worth the wait, I promise

Keep the Faith Brothers! Waiting is difficult for all of us, and I don't know why we haven't heard ANYTHING from Dan lately, but don't despair. At a time when many companies fold, the Busse group soars. They know how to make great products, and how to market them successfully.

I appreciate the kind words.

The Yards should remember that we produce our own knives and we gain a lower cost of overhead by using the same facilities as Busse...not machinery or people. I moved from Texas to save a bunch on not shipping scrap across country.

The slight delay in the Regulator involves a number of activities that go into the production while keeping the price point low for you Dogs. ScrapYard is all about the "Performance to Price Ratio" and if I can save you $5.00 or $10.00 I will do it.

It will be worth the wait, I promise

Dan

Dan - most of us already know that you will take care of us. However, a little communication is worth its weight in gold!!!

I like the new Busse business model and would LOVE to see it extended to the Yard. What a wonderful world it would be to always have a small, medium and large blade in production. IMHO there should ALWAYS be something available to order from each of the companies. When one comes down, another should take its place. No gaps.

How many sales do they lose to the secondary when new prospective customers come a lookin' to buy only to find the cupboards are bare? Secondary would still thrive. Always folks looking for out-of-production models.

I like it. I say bring it!

What I would love....would be a mix of knife offerings. It seems that there have only been two knives released in the past year, unless I am missing something. I like the idea of a varriation in the steel such as the infi offering, just wish the varriations could come out as options with the initial offering. I know I am complaining....while some of you wait impatiantly for the regulator. The thing is....if you don't want a regulator as it does not fit your need or want....and you already took advantage of an early S5 offering, you have nothing to look forward to for ages, or at least looked in vain. I could be wrong, but this dearth is taking it's toll on the yards post activiity....it is starting to resemble the Swamp.

My point is, if you got a SR101 S5 and don't care for the Reg....you could wait a year and a half before getting another SY option.

I love the Yard, but this sticks for me. I know we get the scraps, and are lower priority compared to Busse....I just wish it were not so....but wishin don't change nothing. Just had to vent.

If we are talking about the regulator....to me, it is so close to the SOD... I know it is a different design...and especially with the new mods, I can not believe the SOD falls behind it in any appreciable way...maybe excells it. I am starting to lose track because it has been so long, but hasn't there only been the muk, the S5 in two varriations since the release of the SOD? Two seven and a half inch blades with somewhat similar design in three knife runs? I don't care much for the grip/guard design much either.

I might have been in for the Reg had there not been such and enormous lag time, and with the unmodified super thick blade.... At least it was unusual.

I am sure the quality will be extraordinary...it is more the design that keeps me from being interested.

I know we get the scraps Bruce...but I can hope for change can't I?
