Most all of us have dealt with the pain of parting with a beautiful knife. Gone are my safe queen Skinny ASH-1 and, even more painful, my cutter: MPLE.

Anyone on the forum long enough knows how much I praise the M2K for being king of cutters. Despite this, I usually reach for my MPLE. Just took some thinning and convexing, and it became such a hotrod. I never tired of drawing it from the custom Rainwalker kydex. Jeff actually proxied that knife for me at Blade. More reason to keep it.

However, the MPLE was preventing me from using knives that I never intended to become safe queens, but ended up that way anyway. S5CG, your day has come. Thanks again for the generous gift, ksjumpmd.

For anyone who was wondering, the MPLE has left my hands, but remains in the Yard. Don't just post pics of the unboxing, Tonester. Show 'em what that edge can do.

thanks Mag for giving me an awesome deal and for giving me a chance to own and use a knife that i have been trying to get my hands on for over a year! the MPLE was on top of my list and was a grail knife for me. and it makes it even more special knowing that i am receiving it from one of the Yards most respectable dogs! thanks Mag.

Tonester, that is awesome. I was given my MPLE by Snotpig and it has my JYD number on it. I know the feeling of being stoked! You will love it.
