I guess I mean, "Does it fit WELL into the sheath?" I've got a Reg and a DeReg with sheaths on order and a RMD coming from Eric. Wondering if one of them sheaths could do double-duty.

I would THINK the Reg sheath is too. . . wide. Depth probably isn't a big issue, but I think it might rattle around in there. Anyone have both that can check it out?

I think it's quite a bit too wide. The RMD is a fair amount thinner than the Regulator....5/16 on the reg as opposed to 3/16 (I think) on the RMD. I think it would probably fit but it will rattle around quite a bit. Still though if you're looking to save cash I'm sure it could work, just wouldn't be perfect. I'll have my RMD tomorrow morning and I'll test it out for you.

Muchos gracias. After seeing the comparsion pix in another thread, the Reg is MUCH bigger in many dimensions. Oh well.

Just tried, it obviously goes in because the RMD is much smaller than the Reg, but it's pretty floppy. The velcro snaps should hold it in there but it'll be rattlin around the whole time...
