I can give you some links to sort through:

1) A brief description about Busse Combat's origin is on their About Us page. In addition to knives sold through the Busse Combat Web Site, there's another online outlet, the Busse Company Store Another resource is the Busse Collector web site.

2) Swamp Rat, which is managed by Jennifer Busse (Jerry's wife), no longer seems to list an "About Us" or history sort of page; sales are through the Swamp Rat Company Store, which is run by Eric Isaacson. You may want to look through the Swamp Rat subforum at BladeForums and you can see information about some of their past releases at the SwampShack site

3) Scrap Yard's Welcome page describes this company's origins.

4) Each company site has a forum; Scrap Yard's is by far the most active of that type. The most active Busse(kin) forum overall is probably the the Busse Combat subforum at BladeForums.

The current Military Overrun Regulator/Deregulator release is the first general release, although a limited "Test Team" version was sold at Blade last year. Feedback from Test Team buyers resulted in some design changes for the general release version, see: A Look At The Changes We MadeTo The Regulator....
