Mine are all within a few feet of my bed and the TV, so I can fondle them and air stab tv villains at my leisure.

I've heard SR101 rusts easily, but oxidation usually requires...oxygen...therefore sounds like M2 is onto something.

Good deals so far. I keep mine oiled up, in sheath, and in a few book bags and box. You can always get some desiccate bags to throw in the boxes, bags, etc.

Sumo - I have a big boxed of desiccant in my gun safe. The humidity is so high here I have to bake the crystals every 30-45 days to reactivate them

I keep my EDC's in a top drawer so I can rotate through them. All my others I keep locked in a large box. They are oiled or coated with Ren Wax and I keep several military grade packs of desiccant stored in the box as well to absorb and eliminate any moisture. I believe the desiccant is an important addition and keeps the environment free of any moisture. I plan to move some of my knives to my gun safe eventually.

I hadn't even heard of Ren Wax until I was discussing knife storage with Private Klink. I need to pick some up!
