But I was ready for the release of the SAR3 LE Tuesday night...

Evidently a little more ready and anxious than I thought... I guess I was pretty fast too!!!

I had a big surprise in the mail today. I was hoping the SAR3 would make it, and it did... but then my jaw nearly hit the floor when I unwrapped it.

I really my SAR4 and SAR8, and the SAR3 is an awesome addition.

The handles are thinner, so it doesn't feel nearly as handle heavy as the GW, but if you have big hands the GW probably fits a little better. I've always liked the GW but have always wished for a similar blade that was a little more balanced, and although the SAR3 probably isn't as perfectly balanced as some might like, it's still balanced a little better than the GW. And since the SAR3 has a slightly thinner blade, it's lighter overall.
