My copper dagger works quite well, but it's a dagger so I can't legally carry it. Thinking about making a single-edged knife from a deer leg bone and some more copper plate.

COPPER? Didn't you do a series of pics once and said the the copper became work hardened and held an edge better, or was that someone doing a flint knapped blade?

I did some work in progress shots of when I was making the dagger. And copper does get harder when it's exercised. Nowhere near as good as steel, but good enough to be useful and it makes for a very appealing tool.

I would think that a copper blade would be better than most non-metallic blades. It's good to hear from you again Momaw!
