So, I totally missed out going to Blade this year. Does anyone know of any shows in the Pacific Northwest? Does Bussekin ever get out to the west coast? I would love to go to a good knife show near home.

I was at the Eugene show this last year and Troy ( 360 joules) was their with " very" limited steel. No SY at all- a few Swamp Knives and maybe 20 Busses blades
I was " ready to go" with many proxy buyers and a pocket full of cash for myself <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Needless to say-I was a bit disappointed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Troy was a great guy- the show was fantastic <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />- it was just sadly lacking in the way of Busse steel. It seems that they are more of a midwest or Atlanta type of deal. I am hoping that there is a Blade West next year and Busse does show up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />- if not I a off to Atlanta. Or- even if we do have a Blade West- I might still be going to Atlanta <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />. We can only hope <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I too hope Blade West returns in 2011. Although nowhere close to the size of Blade Busse and kin did show up. 2009 BW was the introduction of the BOSS Street prototype and there were many great knives to choose from. To elaborate on Scott's post, Kevin, BLADE Show West has been suspended until further notice. With the BLADE Show being the massive undertaking that it is, we've decided to put all of our efforts into keeping the BLADE Show the world's biggest and best knife show.

We hope that, somewhere down the road, we may be able to get BLADE Show West up and running again. The folks out there who supported the show are great and we'd like to be able to get back to giving them a show with the "BLADE" stamp.

For more, see page 98 of the upcoming May BLADE (on most newsstands by Feb. 23 and mailed to subscribers before then).

I have not seen much bussekin in my neck of the woods. I know a lot of fans in Nor Cal and Portland, but most everybody is holding on to their steel.

I know BW has always been a struggle to produce and I don't know if it will be back any time soon. Maybe the Busse Bros can send some more steel this way and a few of us could set up at some local Gun/Knife/Sporting shows.

Nice pics Seth!!! BW would be awesome. I hope that they get it going again. I totally think that we should get something going in the NW for Bussekin <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Just need the steel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

Yep there or the Expo Center, or even the Armory.

Blade West was held at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas the last few times.
