Hello from Tucson,

Not too new to knives but brand new to this site and the world of the Scrapyard. After finding this, I put my Gerber up for sale in order to replace it with something a bit more usable. With any luck, I'll be placing my first order for a Dogfather...we'll see how it goes.
One quick question, I noticed that these knives do not come with sheathes. How and where do you get them from?
Hope I can be of assistance around here.
Fritz

Welcome to the Yard Devinsdad! Just so you know, none of the knives on the website on the knife page are actually for sale direct anymore

happens to everyone, theres a bit about it in the rules section at the top of the forum, Currently the only knife you can order direct is the Regulator

The Yard will have a notification for upcoming blades, take orders, close the order window, and then start making that design. Right now the Regulator may be available, not sure for sure. As to the sheaths, most don't come with a sheath as it is up to the buyer to figure out what kind he/she would like. There are many fine sheath makers out there.

Thanks for the help. Joined the Yahoo group tonight as well. And here I was thinking I'd place an order for a dogfather and try to hide it from the wife. Im sure that'll come fast enough though.

Welcome to the Yard, classic Scrapyardknives mistake! I think most of us have done it.

Go to the Store and check out the current offering, the Regulator! Great knife great price, and you can order a sheath with it. MY FAVORITE KNIFE OF ALL TIME!!!!!!

get one then hang out and learn the ways of Bussekin.
