Yup. That 17 year old girl I was talking about called 3 or 4 of her "Friends" to come get her or she was going to go to jail for minor in possession. They thought it was a big joke evidently, even after I talked to them. She is now being booked into jail. Some friends, and I told her that!

We had a 15 yr old that wanted to fight his parents. Already on juvenile probation. He told the officer that went to the house that he didn't have to listen to him. The kid found out different. His PPO came and picked him up and took him to juvenile hall, court on Monday. He was crying when he left here, Mr. Tough Guy LOL. Our officer spent 5 hours dealing with him and all the paperwork.

Sad thing is all he had to do was sit down and shut up, he'd be at home in his own bed right about now. But noooooo, not him.

And the sad part is it probably won't do any good. Hopefully it will, but only time will tell if it "took" or not.

I can already answer that. Dad said he always gave him a second chance, till this time when he popped dad in the jaw. Dad'll do it again, second chances over and over again. Next time he'll go to big boy jail, not juvie hall. He's almost 16, and that's considered an adult here as far as jail/juvie hall.

Here he would have to be 17.

Oh, UNLESS he's certified as an adult.

I think it's a case of dad not busting his hind end enough to begin with. That's the problem with 90% of the juvenile cases we work anyway.

Spare the rod and spoil the child. THAT is a true statement!
