We are having some severe weather tonight here in Oklahoma but it looks like OKC is going to be in the middle and scathe through it. We could use some rain, even more cool weather but I am not complaining since it is under 90 degrees lately.

Well Daisey, Daffodile, Petunia and I (they don't have a name for me yet) were going to go to another craft fair today. We got there (this one was only about 30 miles away) and THEY WEREN'T HAVING IT! SO, being the intrepid explorers that we are, we drove another 10-15 miles to TRAIL OF TEARS STATE PARK. I've lived around here all my life (ok I was gone in the military for 20 but that don't count) and had never been there before. Sure was pretty, the leaves are starting to turn, but the big lens on Patty's camera crapped out on her. Some kind of communications error between the camera and the lens. SO, NO really good pics. BUT when I get back to work I will put some up about our journey yesterday to Big springs and Alley springs.

Oh And we watched a 20 minute video about the "Trail of tears". THAT'S when I found out what an a** H**e Andrew Jackson was. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> He went against the supreme courts ruleing and is I think the main person responsible for the deathes of all the Indians that died on the march because of LAND GRABBING MONEY HUNGRY ELITEST SCUMBAGS that inhabited Washington D.C. and Mainly Georgia. Hey Jeff, you may find my above post informative (But I'm sure you already knew all about that). I MIGHT have when I was in jr and hi school but forgot. It made sad to see and hear about what they did.

I have heard that area is beautiful. Yeah, the Trail of Tears was bad, on many accounts and reasons. Andy Jackson was a great military leader, a great speech giver, and could get things done but his presidency was not a shinning period for him. Here is a little fact about Old Hickory, he could not spell worth a flip and used phonetic spelling.............makes it hard for people to read his written ideas. Another thing Old Hickory was he liked to party and could hold a grudge.

I watched a 3 part special today on Nat Geo about a trip three guys took from the start of the Mississippi to the end in New Orleans. I liked it, made me want to do something like that. Then again with my sinus and allergies today I have not wanted to do much.
