You'd be ok till you ran out of ammo, or they snuck up behind you

I'm pretty well set on pistols and .22 stuff too, I still need a good self defense shotgun. All I have now are old double barrels. Great for hunting and shooting skeet, but not much for home defense

True enough, but I still have almost 100 rounds of 9mm I haven't touched yet, and maybe about 2k .223. I know that's not much compared to some folks around here, but we're off the beaten path and I could always resupply with the idiots that try and come through!

LOL, good idea. My stash is ok, I've got about 1k of 9mm, 500/.40, 500/.45, and about 4k of .22... As far as rifle ammo goes, I sold 700 rounds of 5.56 when I sold my AR, but I've got 200+ rnds for each of my deer rifles. I'll be ok for a while LOL.

I used to shoot a lot, but when ammo got scarce after the Great One took office, I stopped shooting and started just putting it back. Only thing I shoot a lot now is my .22

And I don't shoot it as much as I'd like to.

I've got to get some more just to round things out but for the most part I'm ok on ammo, at least for a while.

I can always use more, but at some point I've started just hoarding, and I don't want to have THAT much money tied up in ammo. I've got about all I care to stash right now. Any more than that I shoot!

Yeah plus I've got plenty for a slice and dice, but THAT would be a completely it's hit the fan and getting deeper by the second, last resort, do or die situation.

If the SHTF, you know we'll both be at work, my family will be in here with me. If they can't be here, I'll be at home watching out for them. But our office is big enough to house quite a few people for a short time.

I've often thought the same thing, IF it happens first call is to Patty. Load up the guns/ammo and knives/swords and get here! Should be able to do that.
