Our Chief deputy bought himself his own shotgun. He got a Stoger 12ga with a pistol grip butt stock, synthetic and forend as well with twin action bars. I think he said he paid $350.00 for it. It really handles nice. Now If he could only get the short (legal) barrel with screw in chokes, Man THAT would be the combo!
Last year my nephew bought one of those Norinco double barrel coach guns.
After he went through three warranty replacements in less then 6 months he went to a pump.
I am trying to remember but I think Stoeger made a decent coach gun at one time.
I have often thought about getting a gunsmith to put in threads for screw in chokes for my mossy.
I figure sabot slugs through a rifled choke would be more accurate then cylinder bore and rifled slugs
