We'll have our house paid off in July 2014! We can at least now see that there IS a light at the end of the Tunnel. 1 cc down, 2 to go (we're only gonna keep ONE this time) then the house and a year later the truck. YEAH! but alas, then (proably before) something will start again. Such is life (don't speak french) We'll have ours paid off in 2025 as of right now, but I usually pay extra every month so that'll keep coming down. No credit cards now, and one vehicle payment for another 3 years. But again, paying extra every month helps on the principle!

Sounds like Y'all have a good plan going Chris. Keep it up! Unfortunately the CC debts we're paying on now were Not for Patty and I. Just one of those things. The Problem is no longer a problem, but unfortunately we will still be paying for it for a couple three more years.

We save and then buy on the credit cards. Never spend money on them we don't have. That way we get the points on the card as well as any extra warranty benefits.

I just didn't need the temptation, so I cancelled mine. Chris Sounds like You are one of those people the credit card people DON'T want talking! I knew a guy once back in '91 that has so many credit cards he would use one to pay off the other for 3 years and never had to actually make a payment, or so he claimed. BUT once they caught up with him, sounds like he would be royally screwed!
