My wife loves dirty rice, but again, never have tried it myself. Probably should someday, maybe I would like it.

Just get yourself a box of Zatarains dirty rice, cook as per instructions and add a pound of cooked hamburger meat and you are in business! Hoppin John is good as well.

I was raised eating anything and everything. I could eat all vegetables one day and all meat the next I did have to get fast food out of my diet though. over the last 10 years it's just become crap with little to no sustenance value.

I wish I could get rid of fast food in mine. Seems like that's all I eat anymore. Drive-thru on the way here and there, or have a deputy pick up something for supper for us from McD's. I hate fast food, but seems like I'd starve without it cause it's about all I eat.

We did order out tonight from a good restaurant. Mesquite grilled chicken, baked potato and fried squash for supper. MUCH better than something with golden arches.

Man, that does sound good! But I think I would rather have a salad than the spud!

Meat and potatos LOL. Salads are ok, but I have to be in the right mood for one. Tonight I didn't know what I wanted, but I ordered their special for the day.

Other special was chicken and dumplins. Wasn't in the mood for that either.

well, I'm no hippie leaf eater type.. I love a good burger but I had to stop doing the fast food thing to myself. I dont look for words like "organic" and if I read the word "grass" then I know Im on the wrong isle but what I getting at 10pm from the drive through had to stop.

both my grandparents had nice gardens and I was just as happy with a bowl of ice cream as I was with buttermilk and cornbread.

I watch my buddies leave all the vegtables on their plate when would hit up the steakhouses. I was knocking off broccoli and whatever else was on the plate.

I can handle a small baked potato but that's about it. Now mashed or fixed some other way, no problem, but for some reason baked just doesn't do it for me.
