It seems that everytime I visit "The Yard" I am either too early and no one knows when the next knife will be released... OR... I've missed the latest knife and now is no longer available... OUCH!

The only knife that I HAVE been around for is the six inch Scrapper, which I'm not interested in..... However, almost ALL the others that have been released I AM interested in... I'm just not a fan/supporter of paying grossly marked-up aftermarket prices...

Oh well... I'm pathetic, I know it... I'm just fustrated is all...

Love you all and congrats to everyone for being here when it counted, LOL!

Best thing to do is to just check in here once a week. It's almost impossible to miss a release if you check in once a week because Dan usually gives about a week notice and then a 48 hour and 24 hour notice.

Yeah, I'd say that you should just check in at least once a week, every 4 days or so to be safe. The Dogfather Limited Edition (DFLE) should be next in line. I'm sure that there is something else new in the works as well, probably an EDC sized Scrapper. We'll just have to wait and see what Dan is up to!

An avitar like that and (VIOLINS BEGIN TO PLAY)... The only knife I have is the DM. I have had the opportunity to purchase others, but I did not have the cash, so here I am. I am just proud and glad to be able to have purchased the DM, a truley impressive blade. When the next release comes around, I will most likely say FTW and rack up some charges. You need to stick around and chat, we are a fine bunch of...

Will do J33... Will do... I've been pretty busy over on knifeforum.com, picking Mike Stewart's brain and building a fine, yet small, collection of BRK&T knives!!! Very impressive I might add!!!...

I'll probably never own a 'proper' Busse, but love my Ratz and would love a Dog... The swine is just too dang expensive <sob, sob>

NICE!!!... Does anyone know if is has a convex grind??? This is becoming more and more important to me... I can convex the edge at this point without a problem (belt sander, he he he), but to redo the grind is not so easy (if even possible)... Afterall, it's hard to put metal back ON, once it's been taken off, LOL...

Cheers!

flat ground, mon ami, but a magnificent piece. i may just get this one. i, like jeeps, only have the dumpster mutt. it seems to have satiated my fb lust, though the rats in your avatar are pretty desirable, especially the big one. i passed up a good deal on one and now i'm regretting it, just because of your avatar.

anyway, don't give in to those charging double for scrappers but instead hold fast and wait for the next big thing. you've got some sweet knives to hold you over till then.

I believe the DF uses a flat grind (non-convex in the Bark River sense). I will have to yeild to those who have this beast though.

I believe the original descrpition was a high saber grind, flat ground below the saber section, and a convex edge. Some of my terminology may suck, but that is the jist.

A saber grind and a flat grind are basically the same thing...

Thanks for all the quick feedback!
